How to make smothered turkey wings
Smothered turkey wings Recipe
Sprinkle 8-10 cleaned turkey wings with 4 tbs of flour
Option 2: combine 1 cup of broth with 4 tbs of flour and stir until smooth
Season turkey wings with 2 tbs seasoning salt, 1 tbs sage, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp of thyme, 1 tsp of rosemary leaves
Add 1 large chopped onion and 1 chopped green pepper to baking pan
Add 1 tbs of butter and 1 cup of broth or broth slurry if you decided to choose option 2 above.
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
Place a top over turkey wings or aluminum foil
Bake for 1-1/2 hrs covered
Remove turkey wings and stir gravy well then placed turkey wings back into baking pan and bake until golden brown on top… approximately 20 extra minutes
